NCF developed websitehttp://ictskills.eg
NCF (National Competence Framework) is a website representing the NCF project by ITIDA and IFC. This program is aiming to develop a sustainable approach to enhance the employability of the Egyptian ICT talent pool and upgrade the quality of their training and education. ITIDA collaborated with Aon Hewitt, an international company specialized in human resources and consulting services, as part of the national strategy to develop information technology, outsourcing and communication centers.
The NCF project is aiming to raise and develop the competitiveness of the Egyptian information technology companies and the skills of the employees in the sector to fit international requirements and standards. In addition, developing education and training activities, in order to increase the opportunities for university graduates to work in the sector.
The NCF project is expected to be a quantum leap in the development of education, training and employment sectors in the information technology field, which contributes in creating new job opportunities.
The project includes clarifying and determining the skills and competencies required by every position of the specialized jobs in the field of information and communication technology. This helps provide educational training programs and evaluation mechanisms that focus on technical, linguistic and communication skills.
It is worth mentioning that, the well trained Egyptian team which has the capability of managing this type of project will obtain the necessary knowledge from international institutions which are participating in the implementation of this project.
