The SEO Specialist will be responsible to develop original content to include keyword or phrases that will increase traffic to a site.

The mission of an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist is to maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to a website. This is accomplished through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, content strategy, information architecture, and more.


  • Collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
  • Negotiate with site owners on behalf of the company’s best interest
  • Oversee SEO optimization including social media presence, backlink building and analysis; optimize the use of social assets and strategies as they pertain to SEO.
  • Content writing for website pages, blog posts, articles, etc.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.


  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends)
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Content trategy and social media development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as “htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills “
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
  • Strong written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to approach challenges with logic, problem solving, independent, outside the box thinking, and troubleshooting skills
